He is the recipient of some of the most prestigious honours and awards for his film work and architectural design.
Evan's Art Direction on The Handmaid’s Tale – Season 1’ was awarded a Primetime Emmy and Art Directors Guild Awards. He is also proud of his contribution to The Shape of Water as Assistant Art Director (Oscar, BAFTA and Art Directors Guild Awards).
Similarly, Evan’s pivotal role on international architectural projects has been recognized with significant accolades including Governor General’s Awards for design excellence and Leadership in Sustainable Environmental Design.
Recently, Evan was an invited participant and contributor to Canada’s official submission for the Venice Biennale - 17th International Architecture Festival, Imposter Cities (2021).
Evan is a sought-after adjudicator and juror of Film awards, National + International Public Art competitions and Architectural commissions.
His 'long obedience in the same direction’ as a collaborative creative practitioner (Film, Music, Art + Architecture and Teaching), includes frequent invitations from post-secondary institutions as a Visiting Lecturer and participation as a Graduate Design School External Examiner.
